In line with the Local Organizing Committee LOC’s resolve to deliver world class events all year round, the Bassey Patrick led team of technocrats over the weekend, put up a remarkable reunion amongst the participating clubs in the just concluded Abuja Veterans Invitational Tournament.
Highlights of the events included novelty matches and aftermath get together to ensure there is meet and greet to foster friendship and togetherness amongst the participating club representatives.
The first match of the day was between The local Organizing Committee LOC and the representatives of the 20 clubs that participated in the recently concluded Abuja Invitational Tournament AIT. Team LOC defeated Team Club Reps 2-1, while All-Stars Int’l FC defeated Team Club Reps 2-1.
In his reaction, the Chairman of the LOC, Bassey Patrick said: “It is highly remarkable to have all the participants of the tournament gather in one piece like we are having today, it shows we did not waste our time organizing one of the Country’s foremost veterans competitions.”
