A few years ago, the leadership of All-Stars Int’l FC Abuja birthed a vision to better the lot of the club and the health status of its players by ensuring the provision of a World class facility with natural grass, pavilion, Club house and office.
Today that vision is fast becoming a reality as the project has kicked off in earnest and it is situated just beside the National Institute for Sports headquarters at the Package B area of the MKO Abiola National Stadium Complex.
The visit of the President of All-Stars Int’l, Nasir Jibril, Patrons and some member of the club further gave credence to the vision which has hit the ground running, and in no time, will be near completion.
Speaking after the visit, one of the project supervisors who pleaded anonymity said: “It’s a facility that will stand the test of time when completed and it will safe the club some embarrassment of being denied training facility.”
“When completed we envisage the facility becoming an envy of various institutions within the sports industry as it is targeted to be the best amongst the rest, even with floodlights for the hosting of night games,” he concluded.
It was also gathered that henceforth, there will be scheduled routine visits to the site, in order to evaluate progress and ensuring that no stone is left unturned.
