The 2024 Champions of the Patrons League EOM Competition have been given a guard of honour by their Match Day 10 opponents, Team Red after winning the competition with two games to spare.
The Patron Richie led Team Red accorded the winners of the league with a depleted side of about eight team players and were beaten 5-2 by the White Angels.
The guard of honour is a customary ritual that sees champions given exceptional accolades by opponents the moment they are confirmed champions.
In the other match of the day, Patron Shehu Dikko led Team Blue thrashed Team Green 3-0 to return back to reckoning and possibly stake a claim on the second position on the table.
