The Veterans Football Foundation in Nigeria has announced the Federal Capital Territory FCT as the host City for the 2024 National Veterans Football Championship.
In a letter addressed to All-Stars Int’l FC Abuja, dated 16th October, 2024 and signed by the Secretary of the Foundation, Abdulrazaq Dokunmu, the annual football tournament would go down between 20th and 23rd of November, 2024.
According to the letter, the FIFA Goal Project Package B and Practice Pitch 1 of Package A area of the MKO Abiola National Stadium will serve as the venue of the elite competition amongst veterans.
The Championship has an eligibility clause for participating players which is 45 years of age and verifiable by the Organizers (Veterans Football Foundation) through the National Identification Number, NIN.
